Speed Measurement

An information panel for measuring the speed of vehicles gives a driver, who is approaching or passing by the panels, information about his or her speed shown on a large-scale display, and this leads to its decrease. The driver's reaction is, in the vast majority of cases, caused by the awareness of what speed is appropriate for a given road section. After seeing their actual speed, the majority of drivers slow down because they are not sure whether the measurement is being recorded. When the speed exceeds a set value the display is able to make the speed depicted blink, which helps draw attention to this fact. The panel is also equipped with output relay, which enables the generation of a switch impulse for photo flash (simulation of acquired police record) or logging equipment.

The equipment is homologated for operation on roads in the Czech Republic by the appropriate documentation issued by the Ministry of Transportation.
