DatA NETWORKS

Data networks, meaning a uniform communication base for data and voice (structured wiring), is built in principle on the level of all other engineering systems, i.e. electrical wiring, lighting, distribution of water, gas, heat etc. In this way the building is equipped with blanket wiring, and places which are not being utilized at the moment are also connected. Each room is equipped with as many receptacles as it will be possible in the future to use from the perspective of the number of allowable employees or installed equipment in the particular place.  Adhering to this principle gives wiring the necessary flexibility for reconfigurations and changes.

The structured wiring system, first standardized by the American TIA-EIA 567 norm, is based on a central star distribution of four-pair cables individually connecting communication system workplaces with central distribution bundles, where communication service sources are operatively connected to individual end cables.
