Identifications of patients

We are introducing a new group of products and software, which allows health care facilities to make a gradual transition to a system of automatic identification of patient care. Electronic identification helps health care facilities simplify procedures, save work efforts and time and prevent mistakes in processing data.

Its basic possibilities for use include :

  • Patient identification during check-in
  • Record-keeping of patient diagnosis
  • Identification during medical treatment procedures
  • Monitoring for individual patients the performance of tasks by health care personnel
  • Evaluating patient stays and tasks performed
  • Identification during check-out

PPT Mobile Record Terminal

A mobile terminal based on a PDA computer. It enables health care personnel to identify patients using an ID chip (see below) and to keep records of health care tasks performed. This can all happen anywhere in the building or premises of the health care facility. Patient information (name, diagnosis, length of stay etc.) appears on the screen, and individual operations can be entered. The equipment's advantages include that it is completely independent of cable connections, is highly mobile and very easy to use by touch. The user interface (equipment function) can be modified according to the customer's needs. Thanks to its integrated network interface (WiFi) data can be immediately transferred to a central processing system.

  • Terminal can be carried in a suit pocket (dimensions for orientation h. 130 mm, w. 70 mm)
  • Wide assortment of accessories (cases, holders)
  • Integrated RFID chip reader
  • Accumulator lasts up to 48 hours (by use)
  • Choice of functions using touch screen

Patient Identification Bracelets

---------

Bracelets can be used for the precise identification of patients during their stay in a health care facility. The bracelets are available in a variety of models and colors, enabling a clear division of patients by ward, length of hospitalization or other attributes. The bracelets are also available in children's sizes. If they are equipped with an RFID chip, the possibilities of their use are increased several times. Additional patient information can easily be added to a bracelet personalized in this way. This includes information such as name, check-in date, diagnosis, medical treatment records (giving of medicine, times of mandatory patient inspection, samples taken, departures on leave) and much more.

  • ID bands equipped with an RFID chip
  • The patient receives the chip during check-in
  • He or she is entered into database SW under the chip number
  • The patient can be unequivocally identified, visually and also by readers
  • The chip number can be joined with additional information
  • Color-coding (ward, diagnosis, etc.)
  • Name of the holder (patient) is printed on a band
  • Accompanying information (date of birth, birth number, diagnosis.)

Bracelet printer, chip readers, SW

------------

Basic accessories for the patient identification system:

  • Patient check-in - code reader for identification card or passport allows automatic entry of information into records
  • Outfitting the patient with an RFID bracelet - printers for printing patient information on the band
  • Station readers - allow movement around the facility, record-keeping of presence, and also include automatic opening of doors, elevators etc.
  • SW for data administration, chip record-keeping and communication with the hospital information system
